I am putting a 6.0L (LQ9) with a mild cam, 4L80 with a 3600 stall converter. I currently have 3:73's in my 12 bolt. I will be running a 24X14 rear wheel with a 405/25/24 that is 32" tall. Wondering if I should consider going to a 4:10, or even a 4:56? Or would I even notice the difference? This truck will never go down a race track, just want some nice get up and go. I would leave the 3.73. I think my tires ars 28". Even with the larger tire i think the 3.73 is a great combo with OD. I have a 700r myself.

With that much tire,I think you are going to want more gear.As it is ,you will be turning only about 1700 rpm at 60 mph.With the 4.56s you will be turning just under 2100 RPM at 60-about right.Just be shure you have high quality axils & u joints ect. Happy cruizing

Sounds good.You may also want to consider a poly driveshaft center mount instead of the OEM rubber one.The terminal velocity of your driveshaft may be an issue ,especially if it's a long box-you don't want to end up wearing that thing.
