Brown trucks with Gold interior pics?
According to my SPID, my truck was originally brown with a gold interior trim package. The PO did a fairly good job painting it white w/ black interior. I can see some gold coming through on the door panels. I am curious as to what my truck would've looked like when new. I'm thinking of painting it back to original colors. If anybody has pictures of brown/gold trucks please post them here. Thanks!

Re: Brown trucks with Gold interior pics?
If you post your paint and trim codes from the SPID label someone should be able to help you.

Re: Brown trucks with Gold interior pics?
Hi. I finally got time to look up the paint codes on the SPID.
622 Gold Vinyl Trim 526 Med Gold Model # CE20934 I didn't find anything on the SPID about it being brown, but that's what shows under the white paint, and on the inside of the glove box lid. If anyone has a brown truck, I would really like to see it. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Brown trucks with Gold interior pics?
526 med gold metallic "looks" kinda brown, and if your SPID has that, then that was the original color. Paint chip chart attached. If you have darker paint underneath your white, it is likely a re-paint after the original med gold and before the white, may want to sand further to discover ground truth. But I am guessing you are seeing the med gold under your white paint. Sounds like a purdy color/int combo. I THINK the 2nd/3rd pics are med gold main color. 4th pic is the corresponding int for THIS truck, but sorry I can't verify via a SPID. I'm not sure if it's a 622 gold vinyl - at the very least, the one pictured has fabric. I think JoesJunk's Ochre truck has this same seat, might be worth checking with him on the code on the SPID.

Awesome Jocko!
Except for the fact that that truck is two-tone, I think the basic color is the same. The paint coming thru on the door panels is exactly like pic #4. I really like that color combination. I look forward to "attempting" to paint it this Spring. I have a black step bumper on it right now, what color should it be? It came with a factory chrome front bumper. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Brown trucks with Gold interior pics?
yep, I realize that - was just referring to the main body color for reference. Yours would look really nice solid med gold! I really like that color. Looking forward to your new paint job!!

Re: Brown trucks with Gold interior pics?
Yes. I hope I can get "Med Gold Metallic". Probably the local auto body shop could get it for me. I'm getting ahead of myself, I still have 3 months 'til its nice enough to paint (I don't have a shop, I have to do my work in the driveway). I will definitely post pictures of the process.
Happy New Year!!!!!!! Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Brown trucks with Gold interior pics?
Does anyone have any pics of solid Medium Gold trucks (no white in the middle)? The ones Jocko posted yesterday gave me a great idea of what the color is, but when I paint mine this Spring it'll all be one color.

Re: Brown trucks with Gold interior pics?
here's two. 2nd one is listed as gold, but it could be saddle tan or just faded med gold met, hard to tell when looking at the one pic by itself.

Re: Brown trucks with Gold interior pics?
Thanks! That bottom one looks just like how mine would've (and will again) looked when new.
