72 chevy first truck
I'm new to this but i got a 72 short bed for my first truck and my dad and i are trying to clean it up and make it a daily driver for me to drive so far we cleaned out the motor, new shroud , put a new carb on , put in a new transmission , lowered the truck, put a brake booster on and now were working on putting a new gas tank under the bed! motor has aluminum heads and rocker rollers the motor has been bored out to a 355 and has some hp we got it with the motor already in it

Re: 72 chevy first truck
Nice truck I've not really been into the short beds do to my work in the hauling business and scrap metal business.Long beds rock.I grew up with these trucks.Never likes this body style until 15 years ago.I drove 3 ton BOBTAILS i had 3 of them 1960--66 short nose with a 4 speed and split rear end.Had over 9 1964--66 chevy 3/4 tons and 11 years ago bought a 1964 short bed fleet side and it sits on the side of the house in needing of restoring. Now i own almost every year of the 1967--72 chevy trucks suburbans. But i'm still major long bed fan

Re: 72 chevy first truck
I am interested in the rear marker light filler mod but my 72 swb stepside truck but it has already been painted and I dont want to mess that up. I may have to put the filler throught the bed floor. Any ideas?
