Which Brakes?
I see a number of different kits and brackets for converting 67-72 rear's. What are the advantages/disadvantages?
I"m assuming the number of options are based on what is most commonly available and that will fit our axles. So, for someone who intends on driving this frankenstein ('50 on a '72 chassis) often, what would you recommend I look at? Thanks in advance.

For your truck (and most) the rear drums are all you will ever need. Combined with the factory front discs and a booster you should be good to go with just an overhaul. Why do you want to change and to what?

There are a ton of threads on swapping to disc brakes.There are kits or you can use factory parts from 71-86.Use the search and you'll find lots of info on what works well.You may have to go to an aftermarket booster/MC with the early body.

He is wanting to add rear disc brakes to a 72 C10 chassis. Does anyone make a kit that uses the old 'vett style internal e-brake shoes?
