Help - to install stock radio ?

Can someone tell me steps to install stock am radio in my 72 a/c dash? I bought a decent AM and want to replace the cheap aftermarket cassette. Should I remove the glove box liner and take the radio out the side ?
Any help or tips appreciated. Original speaker looks to be intact and I have the correct wiring plug and bracket on the rear of radio.
Or maybe point me to a previous post with directions? I searched but didn't find too much.

I just put one in last week. Search my posts for details.

You'll want to remove the glovebox liner, and maybe even the right defroster hose if possible. It's a really tight fit, and may be even worse and require more hoses be removed, where you have AC. Cover the radio face with a thin cloth as you slide it around and into position. You are probably missing the screw that connects the bracket to the mount below the speaker. My thread gives you the Lowes part number for the screw

Also, pull off the knobs, the two nuts, and the cups prior to installation. They all go on the outside, once you have poked the radio through the dash holes
