Question Body lift kits and stock bushings

Hello to All, I just joined this sight and so far, I find it very informative. I have been tring to get an answer for one question on other sights with no help. I am new to this kind of modification work, so please be kind. I want to put a body lift kit on my 71' 2WD half ton chevy. will the kits (2"or3") A) replace the original bushings, B) not use the original bushings, or C) require the bushings? Thank you for the insight. The main goal is to give the truck an agressive stance. I belive the springs were shortened (maybe a heat wrench?) and while i plan to replace them shortly, I am in the process of replacing the front clip with one in better shape and do an engine upgrade (Replace with a rebuilt semi-stock[wink, wink]). Since I have the front end apart, I figure this is the prime time to go for the gusto.

Most of the kits I've seen only provide the 2-3" spacers to install WITH the stock bushings. Good luck!
