My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

Re: WTB clutch return spring

Shawn, found two springs but don't believe either will work of you. One is about 1'' in diameter and coil is 5 1/2'' long, short curve at both ends, total length is 7 3/16'' end to end. The other one is about is about 9 3/4'' long, large curved hook at oppesite ends, 90 degrees to each other. Coils are about 3 1/2'' long, complete spring is made from 1/4'' stock. REALLY beefy. Sorry but don't think either one is what you need. Both look totally differant from the broken one pictured. Sorry

Re: WTB clutch return spring

How long is it? I've done several auto conversions, and springs are something I throw in the bucket of bolts. I found one that is 2 1/2" of coil, 3 1/2" total from eyelet to eyelet. If this sounds right you can have it. Just let me know.

Re: WTB clutch return spring

Thanks for checking Ironhorse. My spring is pretty stiff and the coils measure about 3" and overall length is a little over 5 1/2".

Re: WTB clutch return spring

Just did a little more digging, that first one isn't it, but I found the right one, 3 1/4 of coil, 6" total. I can post a pic if you want.
