Gauge cluster lighting
So am I missing some bulbs? Are these sockets available somewhere?
Is it this way because it's just a 3 hole cluster? Posted via Mobile Device

Re: Gauge cluster lighting
Nope. You are missing three. I think you can get them from some of the parts houses. I can send you 3 out if you like for $15 shipped

Re: Gauge cluster lighting
My local O'Rielly has them, fairly priced with the black piece and everything. Idk about a 3 hole cluster but I do know that on a cluster with the lower gauges, certain lights illuminate certain gauges so a cluster with a tach has a few extra lights compared to one without. Might just try moving the lights you have around to the open holes and see what happens

Is your truck an automatic or stick? If it is an automatic one of the bulb holders should have a small bracket to hold the fiber optic cable, that lights the shifter indicator. LockDoc

Re: Gauge cluster lighting
I've seen 2 different types of sockets that use 2 different bulbs. The most common by far is the type that uses 194 push in bulbs. The other uses #1895 (I believe) bulbs that twist in. I can't tell from your picture which style sockets you have, but they almost look laike the type that uses the 1895s. A picture of the sockets you have would help.

Re: Gauge cluster lighting
Yeah, been doing some research and I think they are the tall type 1895. I'll pop a bulb out this evening to check, but I think I'm going to replace all the sockets with the 194 type and run led's

Re: Gauge cluster lighting
Also, what size fits? I see listings for 1/2" and 5/8" sockets for the same vehicles. Which sockets are which?
