69 grill on a 72

Anyone put a 69-70 grill on a 71-72? That's what I'm about to do and was wondering what all was involved. I will be putting on a 69 bumper as well, and curious if the turn signal pigtails in the 72 turn signals, in the bumper, were long enough to reach the turn signals in the 69 grill. Hopefully its an easy transition...

I think you'll need the core support to do this swap

Re: 69 grill on a 72

I have two complete trucks I will be making into one, so that's not an issue. So, when I transfer my front clip I need to transfer the core support as well?

The center support bracket to the hood latch is the only different part and the turn signal wires fit and plug right in

The bumper brackets are also different. Use the '69 brackets.

The core supports are the same.

The pigtails will reach.

You need to swap outer bumper brackets.

You need to swap the hood latch and it's vertical brace from the other core support.
