lowering kit ?
can anyone tell me good lowering height like the 2 4 drop or the 3 6 drop ?

Typically anything 2" lower out back will level the truck, depending on wheel and tire combo. I think the early classic 4/6 drop is the best bang for your buck and everyone seems very happy with them

I did a 4/6 on my 68 and It rides awesome. Toxic Drop Shocks are to thank for that. Had no name shocks before that did... well nothing!

i have the cpp set 3/5 for mine u just want to know how low you really wana go. i love the 3/5 but i wanted lower now 5.5/7

my 72 project has 2" cpp springs in front (buick 455, 400 turbo.aluminum intake,yet 4 core radiator and a/c) then 3" cpp in rear with 1" block, an ece deluxe bar kit (1/4") 275/6o's on 8" ralleys . pics from this fall before i started taking apart , again .lol

Lots of wheel/tire sites will have a image maker, it allows

I did a 2/4 and I didn't like it. It still looked too high, the gap between the tire and fender didn't look right ( i'm running 255/60/15's with rallys).
I changed to a 4/6 and like it much better. Maybe 1 more inch would be perfect, but once you go past 6 in the back it starts creating issues. I used Early Classic and they were very cool about exchanging the springs, I just had to pay shipping again. |
