Sheet Metal Gauge
Need to cut out a couple of a cancerous spots on the rear fender of my stepside - any idea what gauge sheet metal I need for this project?

I prefer to use 18 ga. It is just a hair thicker, but by the time you get done grinding and sanding your welds, as well as a little hammer and dollying, it loses a little thickness.
