OK I looked and searched and can not find what I am looking for seen one I like but forgot to write down who made it I am putting the tank in the back and want to know who makes the best aluminum tank for between frame rails? I also want 8an fittings in and out of tank so future fuel usage and want one with a sender already in tank for original 0-30 ohm gauges. Pictures would even be better I dont really like the jegs tanks I want one that fits good heigth is not a issue its 4x4 and has a 8" lift on it

I also want to do this - need the leg room in the cab. Looks like this doesn't come with sending units etc - where are you guys picking up the extra pieces to the puzzle? Thanks in advance.

took the words out of my mouth buddy the only senders they show are 0-90 and we need 0-30 ohm i dont even see on there site where the 60-66 trucks are listed

They will supply them, tell them what you have. Mine came with roll over valve, sender and cap.

IF you need a sender you can also contact Classic Instruments as this is where Boyd gets his stuff from. The tank fits awesome and I'm putting a second one in my daily driver now since I'm rebuilding the motor.

the tanks were designed for the 67-72 trucks but fit ours as well. they also give members a discount . best price out there.

anyone have any installed pics? how low does it hang, as i intend to lay frame and dont want it to hit the ground. my buddy bought the blazer tank and it hangs way too low.

If you are laying frame and raising the bed floor, you can mount the tank on top of the frame rails for extra clearance.

Can you PM me a quote for the Porterbuilt Stage 2 Deluxe rear and a boyd tank with roll over valve (not sure if you can get a 30 ohm sending unit) - for my 1964 short bed step side shipped to 08085? Are there any known issues with clearances on the short bed with this tank? Thanks in advance.

CPP has a tank that fits between the rails.
The stock filler it offset. I relocated the filler in the center

how did you all hook up the fill hose to the truck? any pics of how you did this? or how bout pics of the bed fill pics I am thinking of the bed fill style so dont have to cut something out on the side but would like to see how you did it
