POL 19 Gal. Side Fill Gas tank.... Need Help

So i purchased the POL side fill gas tank. Went with this option because it i want to be able to fill up even if i have a bunch of stuff in the bed. So here is my problem...

Per their instructions the gas tank mounts to underside of the frame rail. They give you a c notch piece for the frame. So when i get the C notch welded in how will i be able to mount the gas tank to the bottom side of the frame rail when the filler tube wont get past the c notch plate? There is not a lot of room to angle or twist the tank into position. The opening is not much bigger than the tank itself. Has anyone installed this tank and can post some advice and pictures for me? Thanks.

I can see it maybe working if you dropped it in from above and mounted it on the topside of the lower frame rail.

You have to notch out the lower side of the frame rail.
It all bolts in from the bottom when you have the c-notch welded in place.

Well. From the top of the filler tube to the flange below is over 4". So with the tank mounted from below the filler tube ends up center of the top frame rail. Notching the lower side does nothing. I think you would want to notch the top rail to clear the tube thus causing my installation issue. See what i am saying or am i missing something?

My tank is a CPP, but looks similar. Installs from the bottom, it is a very tight fit..
