Suggestions on wheels...

I need some killer wheels to go on our 68 Stepper and I just cannot find anything I really like. I am wanting 17s at the least and no more than $250 a wheel. I really really like the Rocket Racing and Boss wheels but it seems everyone has the Torque Thrust style of wheel on their C10 and I am lookin for something different. Any suggestions or pics would be appreciated

Re: Suggestions on wheels...

What finish are you wanting? Most reasonable good looking wheels come in torque thrust style I think. Coy makes a few nice wheels that are very reasonable. Also there is an eagle alloy wheel the 225 that is a great looking wheel in my opinion. It's cast aluminum but seems to polish up pretty nice. Sorry can't upload pics from my phone.

Re: Suggestions on wheels...

I bought the Coys C5's in gun metal so I'm a little biased.

Re: Suggestions on wheels...

It's a good look so go with it! I am going with Summit Legend 5's on my '69 stepside. Money is an object as far as I am concerned, and the Legend's fit my price and style criteria. And 17" tires should be cheaper. We'll see if that pans out... But they are on sale right now! $135 for the fronts and $144 for the rears. Set of 4 only $550 which should leave some $ for tires.

You should be able to purchase Boss 338's in 18" and 20" for around $750 delivered.

Re: Suggestions on wheels...

Now guys I just need help on tires. Kumho Ecsta tires will be fine for me as I have had em on several vehicles. I want some beefy tires out back and some ok ones up front...

Hankook Tires are alright too. I just don't know much about tire sizes.
GO!

Also anyone with Coy C57s chime in. I may get the Gun Metal ones as they are a bit cheaper, but I don't know how they will look.

Thanks!
