I ordered a pair of nerf bars for my fathers '12 Tacoma from this site. First of all, the price was the absolute lowest I could find plus free shipping and an extra discount on top of that. I decided what the heck, how bad could it turn out? I found out they were on back order right after I put the order through, so I called them up and they said that this is because that particular company makes all of these bars built to order. Well that's fine by me so I don't mind waiting a bit. He told me to expect an email within a few weeks. I hadn't heard anything by last Thursday and that had been about two weeks, so I got a hold of them again. The guy I talked to told me that by their records it was supposed to ship out that day, but he couldn't be sure and to call back if I hadn't gotten an email by tonight. I just checked the status of the order again and it still says back ordered, but there is a note on the page from the guy that he called the company again and the bars are shipping out tonight and I will have a tracking number by tomorrow afternoon.
I realize this may not seem like such a big deal, but recently it's been getting harder and harder to find businesses who are actually willing to go that extra step for you. I thought it was great that this guy took the time to make a point of calling for me and seeing what was taking so long. I apologize if this story seemed like it was going in a negative direction, but I wanted to give you the whole perspective. It isn't their fault that the other company had to build the bars first, nor am I concerned at all with the time it took. I would rather have a quality part built carefully. Anyway, great service and I will definitely buy from them again.
