Bench Seat Question
I have a 1968 GMC Stepside swb. A friend of mine has a '69 with a buddy seat in it. Looks really cool plus it seems like there is more room between steering wheel and seat. Anyway, I am seriously considering buckets of some kind for my truck. What years would fit? Someone told me you can go all the way up into the early 2000's for seats. Is this true?

Re: Bench Seat Question
What years would fit, or are you looking for a direct bolt-in? The brackets change after 72. I put a split bench from a 98 Silverado in my Blazer, but I had to do some fabrication work on the brackets.

Re: Bench Seat Question
I am fairly mechanically inclined bu do not have welding capabilities. What did you do in your "modifications?"
