Hello, i am new on here,hope everyone is having a good day.
First of all let me start by saying, i have 1989 Chevy K-1500 silverado 4x4 snow plow truck, with the way the weather is here in iowa i really need to get this truck going,having said that i also have a 1992 buick roadmaster with a 5.6 350 with very little miles 65,345 documented miles. after inquiring o nseveral other forums to ask if i could swap motors with no issues, either no one knew? or continually said yes you can,no you cant,yes you can! in lies my frustration. If i cannot swap motors can i swap parts? because all the truck needs is an alternator and serpintine belt,but unfortunatley i couldnt get a straight answer with this question either! they asked me questions i dont know, is it LT1, is it TBI? i dont know. is there anyone anywhere is this universe that can help me? or do i just count my losses and junk both of them? which is what is about to happen. Thank,Kevin. |

Re: 305/350 parts
LO5 is the engine RPO code
TBI = Throttle body injection
