72 gmc 3/4 ton
Posted via Mobile Device
Hi just joined, I have a 1972 gmc super custom I bought about two years ago. After purchasing it and some parts then starting the tare down I was in an accident. I am now a quadriplegic so needless to say I haven't got far. It's still a big goal of mine and can't wait to work on her again. Problem: I was living in Colorado where my job had me at the time but owned my house in iowa so after the accident I returned home. Now the poor girl just sits I'm really trying to get her Last edited by Scott>72-GMC; 01-07-2013 at 08:14 PM. |

Hey Scott, Sorry to hear of your accident. Your Spirit seems strong and your back home so hope things get better for you. That photo didn't post; would like to see the truck.

There are pictures on my profile I believe. Still getting used to this site. I also have a 72 chevy in my drive here I traded for but don't really need. No motor or transmission maybe I can sell it and get my gmc shipped here

Re: 72 gmc 3/4 ton
I'm thinking I'm going to keep the same color blue but not the white center stripe. Keeping the white top half of the cab. Does anyone know where to get the spare gas tank doors from? Or is it best to fabricate some.
I already have cab corners and rockers not installed but on hand. Managed to pick up a 72 chevy 1/2 ton for parts but I have so many parts already I really don't need it lol. i have a 71 cab also in Colorado with fenders radiator support wheel wells two hoods hinges gas tank air conditioning controls headers wire harness and doors from a 70. I got all that except the doors for 300$ not long after I got the truck Posted via Mobile Device |
