Wire harness question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

On the wiring harness coming off the firewall into the engine compartment. There is a four wire connector towards the drivers side of the main plug. I think there are two green wires and maybe a yellow and also a brown wire. All four of these wires are cut off. What do they go to.

I bought this as a parts truck and was looking at it today. Are these for tail lights or where do they go. It is an 85 K10.

Yes, that sounds like the plug for the rear light harness that would normally run from there down along the frame back to the tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, and reverse lights.

ya those are tail lights
