Re: Lizzard skin

Daver - i just finished my 72 and it works great - goes in very nice and does a great job. i did use some dynamat as well on the backside of the firewall for extra protection. my truck is very quiet inside inside and it stays warm/cool very well.

i did order eneough to do 2 trucks and if you are interested ill make you a good deal on enough to do your truck and i can send you my gun to use if youll send it back when your done

let me know
Brian

Re: Lizzard skin

Davej, I can't offer up any help as I have not used that product but I would like to welcome you to the site and to tell you there are lots of great men and women on here that know a lot about these trucks and are more than willing to lend a hand or keyboard.

Re: Lizzard skin

There is a thread on here where you can make the same product for a fraction of the cost using materials found any home repair store.

I know lizardskin uses a schultz type gun, the kind that are used to apply undercoating and bedliner.

Re: Lizzard skin

I'll second the recomendation for LizardSkin, used it in my GMC, both the heat barrier & the sound barrier. Will use again if I do another build. Also used Second skin Audio on the floor over the Lizardskin

Re: Lizzard skin

Saved I don't know the wheel offset for a blazer as there are so many variables on suspension set ups .
I've been fighting with this on mine trying to find a good tool to get mine figured out without paying a fortune for the tool

Re: Lizzard skin

Oh sorry as far as the gun I agree a bed liner gun would probably work fine
