Free Bench Seat

I am putting up a free bench seat to whomever wants to come pick it up. It came out of a 1968 C10. It leans forward without issue. The foam really isn't bad at all. The brackets work and the tracks slide. I wasn't looking to replace it any time soon, but I found a near brand new set of seats out of a 2006 Tahoe for real cheap.

I can only leave this offer out there for about a week. The seat is sitting in the dining room because if I put it in the shed, the rats will make sure it doesn't stay in its current condition. My wife is not going to put up with a bench seat in the dining room for long.

If someone wants just the brackets, I'll do $20.00 plus shipping after the week is up. I'd rather give the whole thing away instead of taking it apart. Should you want just the brackets, state it in the thread and I will let you know if nobody bites on the full seat.

You are first in line. If nobody wants to come pick up the whole seat (which I doubt, considering I don't see a whole lot of people from around here) by next Sunday, I'll pull everything off the bottom and send it to you. $20 plus shipping.

Re: Free Bench Seat

I notice your signature (or whatever it's called) lists a '69 and '70. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I think '67-'68 are different. I don't want you to pay for something and not be able to use it.

Re: Free Bench Seat

Brackets for the bench should do him fine on a stock seat 67-72.

Re: Free Bench Seat

I've got a split bench from a 90 in mine. Can you measure from bottom of bracket to to top of the bottom seat cushion. Like where your butt would be. Wondering if it'd give me more or less head room. I'm interstated in the seat.

Re: Free Bench Seat

Measuring from the kitchen floor up:

Front of seat (where your knee will be) about 11 3/4"
Rear of seat (where the small of your back will be) about 10 3/4"

Those aren't absolutely perfect, but should give you an idea.
