Cabs

Somewhere i saw there was a company making a complete reman cab? Maybe i was dreaming, but i don't think so. Got a call today from my bodyshop guy, they are going to restore a 68 CST longbed. The cab is JUNK, he wants a whole reman cab.

Any ideas or links? I did the Google, but nothing surfaced.

Thanks

Re: Cabs

I think they sell one for 57-59 or something like that but I don't recall of a 67-72

Re: Cabs

I see they make fiberglass for $7000. Ouch.

Re: Cabs

If they are, they will be far out of reach cost wise for most of us.

Re: Cabs

Not the year you are looking for but Classic Industries sell the 47-57 cabs and they are $8999. Just to give you an idea of what they would probably run. I would say that it would be worth the time and money to search for another cab or put the time and money into the old cab. Would probably be money ahead.

Re: Cabs

I agree, but told him I would look around.

He found rust free cabs in AZ and New Mexico, but shipping is so expensive it's easier to buy all the parts and try to fix it
