1960 SWB Fleetside external dimensions please.

Hi all,

I previously made this enquiry, but had no responses.

Could someone who has the truck, time, and inclination, please check the exterior dimensions of a SWB Fleet for me.

I need the measurements for the guy who would transport the truck for me, if it all pans out.

It is so that he can calculate which trailer he may use.

PS, I am sure the '61 and '62 will be similar in size.

For a 4WD 1963 Very close. Add 8" if equipped with rear bumper.

Yep, I agree about posting again and again till people get the picture......

I just got a memory card from the friend of a friend of the trucks owner today with a 10 minute walk around video that I am busy uploading onto YouTube at the moment.

Will post in my "Intro" thread once uploaded for you guys to look at and comment.

It is far from perfect, but keeping in mind that this is England, and not the Good 'Ole USA, to my untrained eye it looks like a good place to start from if the price ends up being right.

Nice looking SWB Fleetside, just the typical bottom rust, as long as it is not too bad it should be a really nice truck. Does it run ? if so drive it home (except for the ferry) or course......................Kieth

Hi Kieth.

Does the YouTube clip not load for you ?

The truck runs and sounds good.

He starts it at about 8 minutes.

If I got to buy it, I would let the transporter bring it for £500, rather than drive it that far with the motor in there.....

Says Edelbrock on the valve covers and aircleaner cover.
