This is a great forum. I just bought a 64 Chevy stepside with a 283 ci and a 350 turbo automatic. I am considering the following future projects for the summer. 1) power steering kit, 2)bucket seats ( what works? what doesn't?)
3) drop spindles. I have read the Captain Fab threads and he seems to have the best bracket. Do I buy the kit from LMR and toss the brackets? Any help is appreciated.

Welcome, and I agree this is a great forum!
I will say that buckets are a great idea. But first I would ask if you are a tall person, because that will have a lot to do with room!
I am short (5'-3") so I could leave the tank in the cab and use buckets!
If you are tall you might find you need the tank relocated.
Just my 2 cents! Something to think about!

Welcome, scottr, and a very nice ride. Hope you enjoy it here--I've learned quite a lot and continue to do so daily!
To really show you just how welcome you are, you need to hear(but not necessarily heed)some advice. So, here goes: ride in and drive a friend's sixties pickup with buckets; then grin as you decide to save that bucket seat money to spend elsewhere--but STILL on the truck!
Now! That's more than 2 cents' worth.......that's my 2 dollars' worth.
Enjoy that good-looking ride. See you already have the upgraded, dual master cylinder, with booster added to boot!

Thanks for the advice. The seller reupholstered the seat with extra padding. It is really comfortable. I'm just not used to a bench seat and I did drive a 55 with S-10 buckets and it was really nice. I have lots of time to think about it. Just retired on Dec 31 and looking forward to the spring/warmer weather to do some "stuff". Thanks for making me feel welcome. Scott

You don't have to buy a kit at all to add power steering. The steering box, pitman arm and pump you can buy locally either used or rebuilt. The pump brackets and pulleys can be found either used or new locally or online, The belt and hoses can be found at your local auto parts supplier. And of course the steering bopx adapter plate I sell.
