picked up a new project
69 SWB in a bunch of parts....some assembly required
originally a 6 cylinder, step side now has a 350 SB and no bed. 6 lug, rear leaf spring, manual steering & manual brakes. I haven't had a chance to pull the SPID on the glovebox. Needs drivers floor, rocker and cab corner. Bought originally for parts for my 72 but I may just put it together and drive it while my 72 makes progress from the frame up I'm working on. Was bought by the PO 10 years ago and never made any progress, sat in his garage in this state for that time. Sitting on my slideback, waiting for a spot in the shop Passenger side sitting in the PO garage, it was a tiny garage Driver side, I have the fender, grille, hood as they came with the truck Farthest its ever gone waiting for the second slideback to show up (first one winch broke) On its way up the slide back, towards its new home. |

Re: picked up a new project
Threw on some tires that actually hold air to roll this thing around. Don't laugh too hard, I had them laying around from another truck I had.
Also got pictures of the drivers side cab repair that is needed. I also went on a parts pickup today. Got 2 windshields with good gaskets, radio, HVAC controls, mirror, old holley intake, 2" Ground Force drop springs and a box of nuts and bolts all for less then 2 bills. I'm super psyched to get this thing running this week. All for now, later. |
