Swapping parts from 76 to 68 c10

Guys - Can you tell me if the following parts off a 76 c10 will fit directly to my 68 c10 or will it take a little altering?

Master cylinder / booster
Complete front suspension
AC/heater set up
steering column

Thanks
Jeff

The whole front engine crossmember will fit plus the booster and master cyl.,gives you front disc brakes.

Re: Swapping parts from 76 to 68 c10

I saw a thread somewhere on here where someone installed a 73-87 evaporator into a 67-72 box and used all of the 73-87 lines as well in order to go to the modern cycling system instead of the poa valve...

The crossmember WILL fit, but it will raise the engine stands about 1/2 inch, meaning you will need to make a spacer for the top side of the engine mounts. To avoid this, just move the control arms and keep your crossmember.

Ive done 2 and when I did my daughters 66 GMC the mounts did not fit exact. I was told that it had to do with the height of the frame sidewall. The other truck is a 84 and I did not measure it but was told that the 84 frame is taller than the 66. The rest bolted under perfect but the plates had to be modded.
