Roof removale ??

Anyone ever remove the roof skin and drip rails before? If so how is this done. Are there spot welds to drill out. I have to much rust around the drip rails and up the roof for about an inch. It would take way to much metal work when there are so many junk cabs with great rust free roofs around. Somehow moisture got in through the seals between the ceiling and roof and did major damage. The little shortbox is to clean not to restore. Thanks
