Window regulator woes

Please someone tell me the trick to keep the glass in the track. When you crank the window down in slides out towards the rear..it's driving me nuts..I want to do a switch to power windows but I think it will still do the same thing.

Re: Window regulator woes

take your door panel off and look for the bolt that holds the rear track to the door. loosen the bolt and adjust the track towards the front of the door. also check to see if the track has broken loose from the adjuster bracket.

Re: Window regulator woes

Well thanks for the explanation..I couldn't even see the rear track. Didn't know there was one. No bolt holding the track so I couldn't see it. Thanks for your help all I need is a bolt.
