63 Master Cyl. Upgrade Question
I have the "bolt top" single reservoir master cyl. and would like to upgrade to a dual res. The bolt pattern on on mine is staggered a bit. (2oclock and 7oclock) there are however 2 bolts on the firewall that look like 9&3oclock "under" the factory m-cyl. Can I bolt a conv. dual res. to these bolts?
thanks! |

Re: 63 Master Cyl. Upgrade Question
Yes you can bolt just about any GM dual reservior master cylinder to your firewall using those 2 bolts at 3 & 9 O'clock.

Re: 63 Master Cyl. Upgrade Question
Used one of the good captains adapter plates and got a 67 master cyl from autozone and instant good brakes. Really does fine without power anything. This is a dual master cyl and you need to seperate the back and front, makes the truck much safer. Just make sure the higher pressure side of the MC is on the front brakes.
