suburban/panel headliner
my headliner is missing on the front half, the factory stuff looks to just be some sort of sound deadener glued to the roof skin and painted.
any sorce on a good repro, or anything else you have done or seen done? these are pics of 'ol kd's sub

It's hard to tell from the pics, is your head liner a soft material or a cardboard type material? My '60 has a soft type material and I brought a sample of it to SMS fabrics and they said they had it. I didn't check the price but I'm sure it's spendy.
I was thinking maybe even a trunk lining type vinyl would work.

Somebody on one of the forums posted his idea. He used the soft magnetic vinyl that they make signs out of that stick to the side of your car, ie. Real Estate, etc.
He cut it to fit and stuck it up there. Unless you have a magnetic compass on your dash, I thought it was a rather good idea.
