Rear brake issue....help...
86 GMC has developed a strange issue, seems to be in the rear brakes. As you come to a stop, right before you stop, truck jerks fairly violently then stops. It started out as a light grab, but has progressed. I figured axle seal (s) were leaking, but they werent. Truck sat for 2 years and didnt have the problem before.
Things to check? Thanks!!! ![]() |

Re: Rear brake issue....help...
Condition of the brakes in general?
Drums scored? Pads wore out? self adjusters to tight? Was the truck stored with the e-brake on? Drum may not even be round anymore.
