just ordered dropmember

I just ordered a porterbuilt dropmember and tubular control arms. Is any one runningthe rackand pinion withiout power I so how is this done. I was told I could just put a breather on the hoses and it would operate. Also anyone got ideas for getting the rear on the ground with stock trailing ams. Will flipping the rear crossmember do it? Thanks

i know a guy running it with no power steering pump. But i dont remember seeing any type of air breather on his. for rear you could use raising blocks.
but you need larger you bolts.

Re: just ordered dropmember

Use a manual 79-93 mustang rack.
(not a power rack with no pump)
Dino does it on all of his trucks.

Re: just ordered dropmember

Thanks a lot I already have 3" blocks on it. I need to get down about 4-5 more inches to lay out.

Re: just ordered dropmember

I would get the PorterBuilt trailing arms then. I am working on them myself. The stock arms are moving the axle forward and making the tire contact front of wheel well.

I thought about that but I wanted to keep the bag on arm set up I really didnt want a bridge. Besides I don't have my bed or wheel wells installed yet so I could mount them foward to clear the wheels. I guess I wanna know is will I lay drame flipping the cross member and using stock mounts flipped
