Camper Special 10,000# GVW Badges

Anyone know if there's an aftermarket source for the 10,000# GVW Camper Special badges? I can find 8,000#'rs all day long, but the 10,000# badges are tough to come by.

I have one, but the other is missing.

Not sure whether it is better to give you distant hope or leave well enough alone.

I have a pair of them I briefly found in my stash back in September of last year. After taking a pic of them and some others, then posting it on here for a "whats it worth thread" I assumed there was no demand for such a thing in light of the zero replies. They were packed up after a while, and I have no clue if or where they may reside today except its wrapped up in a box..... somewhere.

If you really want to torture yourself, linky

That's too bad. I would have loved to take them off your hands.

...and let's just get this outta the way before the Mods shut 'er down: this isn't a "want to buy" thread. I was legitimately curious if there was an aftermarket source for these badges.

Re: Camper Special 10,000# GVW Badges

I just pulled parts off one of those last June. A friend of mine tried to sell stuff off it and no one in the area here bit on it. So I pulled the hood, harness, ecm, and overhead console. Then he scrapped it out.

They go on the cab b-pillar, not the fender... not sure if that makes it better or worse, guess that depends how nasty the cab is inside...

Re: Camper Special 10,000# GVW Badges

My camper special GVW emblems are intact on my 1 ton. And yes they actually attach to the cab behind the door, easy to get to.

However I believe it's very doubtfull you'll find an aftermarket source for these. Very obscure piece that you don't see on many trucks at all. I can't even remember the last time I saw any in the bone yard.
Just not a high demand item in my eyes so the cost to manufacure (I would think) would be a losing proposition.
