western chassis kit on 89 dualley fit 97?

found a local selling drop kit i need.
guy claims that the parts will fit on my truck
my truck is 97 ex cab truck.
parts are on 87 4 door dually.

anyone know if i can use these parts on my truck????

Very unlikely but it ultimately depends on what the 'kit' consists of. One thing for sure.... the rear rails are different requiring different approaches on notching.

thanks for reply. i was thinking that c10 parts would def be different from obs parts.
guy told me he checked numbers and says parts would fit up to 98. cant afford to buy parts that i cant use.
looking for a drop kit for my truck. just looking for best deal.
guess ill see if i get some more info on it.

What brand of parts?
What parts?

Most manufacturers list the year model changing point as 73-91 for the C30's.

western chasis 8 inch drop kit for a full size Chevy. still in the box with all the hardware, comes with drop spindles, lowering coils, rear c notch kit, rear axle flip kit and all the hardware unused

was hoping to get lucky and save a buck on complete kit. but pretty sure its not gonna work. think his kit might go up to 92 if that. waiting for guy to get back to me with part number or something to reference.

Verify the part numbers...

Front spindles for 73-91 C30 = p/n 13600.
Rear flip 'kit' for 73-91 C30 = p/n 211626 (w/c-sections).
