Instrument Panel Needles
i got a 2004 GMC 2500 and the trans. temp gauge needle is stuck straight down and will not move, the tach shows 6000 rpm regardless of highway speeds or at idle, whats the fix or is just a replacement thing?

Sounds like the typical "stepper motor" problem these dash gauges are plagued with...Can't remember right off hand, but there are people out there that will repair them....
