New from Nebraska

My Wife found this site while we were researching the 1964 C-30 truck I inherited. I haven't spent much time with the site but will definitely be looking for advice. In April 1964 my Great Uncle traded in a 1964 Chevelle for a newer 1964 C-30 with a 9 ft. stepside. When he passed away my Father inherited the truck. When my Father passed away, I inherited it. It has 46,000 miles.

My first task is to title it. Although I have everything (Original title, Bill of Sale, punch sheet for the 7 options he added, the original brochure for Chevy trucks, salesman's card.....etc) My Father never titled it in his name. Ouch.

In 1986 My Father and I drove it to a storage facility and parked it inside. It’s still there.

As a kid I remember my Great Uncle Ed stopping buy every once in a while to drop off tomatoes and "day old" bread to our house in the truck. He must have thought my parents needed a little help because we had 5 kids in the family. After he and the truck would drive off, my Mother was on the phone to all the other Moms on the block telling them come over and pick up "Uncle Ed's delivery". He would drop off approximately 50 to 70 tomatoes and 20 to 30 loaves of bread each time.

My goal is to get it titled, running and drive it out to my Sisters house to show her "Ed's Truck". It will bring back such memories.
