Lowering Advice
I have a 1986 Chevy C10 Longbed. The build thread will be up soon. I am in the military and therefore am looking for a cheap easy way to lower my truck. I'd like it to be a lower that doesnt involve changing stock tire style or major canges. Just enough to make it sit a little lower. Any advice? Thanks guys. This forum helps alot with other things I've done so I know it will today

Quote:
For the rear, swapping to drop shackles nets ~2" of drop. Swapping to dropped hangers (front end of leaf) nets 2". A flip kit nets 5-6" of drop (actual drop depends on the thickness of the spring pack).

take the springs out and cut some 2x4s to adjust ride hieght, it will ride like pure dookie but you will look cool when you get struck on curbs!
