New 700R4 rebuild goes bad...
So I get everything put together...fresh engine, new pulley system, driveshaft, rear brakes and axle seals. I was trusting the trans rebuilder on the word of one of my friends. I was driving up a one mile grade the other night and my engine suddenly revved out. I made it home on surface streets in second gear. I double checked my TV cable adjustment and fluid level and went for a test drive this evening. I only have first and second gear.
Is there anything that can be done to fix this trans in the vehicle or am I screwed? Am I going to have to drop this trans for repair?
