Rear Bumper or

So I don't currently have a rear bumper and if you were given a choice which would you choose and why.

Chrome rear bumper
Painter rear bumper
Diamond plate rear bumper
Roll Pan

Re: Rear Bumper or

I voted myself for the painted option because I'm shooting Rhino over most of the outside of the truck in its glossy form and will give it a textured finish like I will the lettering.

Re: Rear Bumper or

I went with a painted (powder coated) rear bumper because the front end of my truck is painted. I think a chrome rear bumper would only look good if I also chromed the grille and front bumper & guards, which I can't afford!

Re: Rear Bumper or

I actually like the painted bumper because it looks good with the scheme I have going and since I like to show it off as much as I use it as a truck, if it gets scratched, stained or faded the only thing I need is some sandpaper and paint to make it look good!

Re: Rear Bumper or

Definatly depends on your truck. I think the bumpers should match. Either painted or chrome. If its a stepper, I like a roll pan. But the one that joins the fenders, not the tailgate.

Re: Rear Bumper or

I have a roll pan, I put 39 Ferd tail lights in it and smoother the stock tail light openings and the stake pockets. I also have a chrome front bumper and grill, I think it looks great! I also tow with my truck and have a hidden hitch and a flip up license plate bracket.
