Re: 1971 Short Wide

Ya, 1971 with 1968 tins. The previous owner made these mods. I'm ok with it, way better looking year in my book! Thanks again!! Going to get new tires soon, going with 255/70/15's . Then lowering just a bit, maybe 3" in the rear only. We'll see how the new tires fill the wells.

Re: 1971 Short Wide

Thanks all! Yep I'm keepin the caps, but also when I get the right height after the new tires I was thinking of going with some chrome torque thrust to fit maybe 18's. so a couple of different looks?

Re: 1971 Short Wide

Here's a shot from the side, it's got a little rake. I think maybe 2" drops in the rear only should level it out?

I like it a lot! 2" drop in the rear should level it out just right.

Re: 1971 Short Wide

Great looking truck man. The only thing I'd do is lower it 2" front and 4" rear. Can we get some more pics and details.

I don't have many more pics, I just recently picked this up. It's an original 1971, 350/350 truck. On the drop, I'm waiting to install those 255/70/15's before I decide on how low she goes!

Yeah, I bought it on c- list, here in the Portland area. It was red and black, kind of a bat-mobile look. We have got rid of most of that though! It was a heck of a buy in my book, my daughters are helping me in the garage now, so icing on the cake as well!!
