Factory power steering

I recently picked up a 63 3/4 ton yesterday and found out it had power steering. My question is how much different if any is a 63 3/4 ton steering set up different on a half ton? I'd like to put factory ppower on my 65 but it's got a crate 350 in it. So would it bolt straight over to my 350? That 63 is a v8 too

it should only other thing you may have to do is get a different power steering pump that mounts differently or just take all the brackets off the 63 should be the same

Re: Factory power steering

So if I took everything off the 63 brackets and all it should go on my 65?

Re: Factory power steering

As long as both engines have the same style of water pump. As in both short pump or both long pump, the pump and brackets will interchange. The original power assist steering should be the same for 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton.
