Do 22 inch rims FIT a 71 longbed? Does anyone have pictures with either 20's or bigger?

IMO, anything over a 20" wheel looks bad on these trucks. Even 20's look bad without the right tire combo. Just my $0.02.

Me personally, Anything bigger than the stock size wheel looks ghetto on our old trucks. Lowered looks fine but slammed with 20" or larger tires are not what these old trucks are about. A friend of mine years ago had one of our trucks that he had slammed and he chopped the top probably 4 or 5 inches. He ruined a nice old truck IMHO. He drove the truck for a few years and when he went to sell it he almost couldn't give it away. A stock or mild (tastefully done) custom will always sell and bring a good price. When you go radically altering these trucks then you'll probably pay the price when you eventually go to sell.
I know my thoughts about this won't be shared by everybody here. Just my two cents - It's your truck.

I would say to get 20s,because on my longbed 68 chevy I got a couple days ago I purchased some 20x8.5 and it looks pretty nice it actually would maybe your truck look shorter. I agree with what the others are saying don't get anything bigger than 20s because it would look ugly. Sorry no pic if you would like to see pm me and I can try to get a picture of my truck.

Its all up to whos truck it is. If someone wants to slam thier truck on 22's then go for it. But like Roberty said youll have a hard time selling it. Then again its your truck and do what you want. Just dont expect to get your money out of it.

Truckin is building a frame that will lay rocker on 22's. That is a pretty sweet setup if you ask me.

But they are using some very nice Intro rims wich arent all the bling like other 22 in. rims are.

I wonder if Rotadyne has done anything to it yet? I haven't heard from him after he got home with it. If anybody here talks to him tell him that I found a couple of small things that were supposed to have went with it and for him to email or call me.
