I don't know what year truck you are building,... but I recommend the
"Forward Series" control arms from Porterbuilt.
They center the wheels in the front fender wheel openings.

What's the difference if he gets a bank loan or someone charging it on credit card? I highly doubt the majority here pays cash for every single item especially big ticket items.

got me there lol, Guess it just sounds scarier when "Bank loan" Is used.
When in reality the interest rate is prolly better!

Go with the Porterbuilt arms!

Spend your money how you please! Some may not agree, but it's your responsibility, not theirs.

Re: ok its time for tubular control arms

Yea im going ro go with their forward series but haven't got a response yet, I got the loan and they told me it was going to be 25-40 dollars a month i know they want me to take longer so I can pay more interest, but I'm going to pay at least 200-300 a month to get it done quicker, plus it will increase my credit score

Good point on building credit. Why not buy the dropmember first, use stock arms, then get the tubular arms after?

Talk to your loan officer to see if they think there is a minimum time to record payments so that it is a benefit to your credit. I know if you open an account, credit card, etc and close it too quickly it will reflect badly on your credit. I would look at making at least one year worth of payments so you have a longer record of on time payments. They also look at the total monthly credit in figuring your credit history so paying too much too fast may not be beneficial to you. Since you want to build credit you should make sure you get the most out of the loan even if it cost you a few more dollars in interest.
Good luck with the purchase and it sounds like you are headed in the right direction.

Re: ok its time for tubular control arms

Frank now that you said that I remeber them saying to make it last 6 months will start helping my credit, thanks for reminding me
Tinyd
I took my truck awhile back to replace the control arm bushings and ball joint, welll they only changed out the top CA bushings, and they said they couldn't get the bottom ball joint to stay in(I guess they were loose) so they welded them in, I think they have had a good 39 year life on them lol maybe when i take them off maybe I can fix them and sell them and make some money back

I do, financially not really a idea. Loans appreciate, cars (parts) depreciate. But if you have already done it get to work!
