Re: fbody fuel pump and tank gauge question

What year of f body? The newer ones use a completely different ohm range, like 33 to 230 or something like that, where as the truck uses a . To 90 ohm sender. I don't think it will work.

Re: fbody fuel pump and tank gauge question

I installed a newer style pump in my K5, if I had to do it over I would have kept the old sender and then mounted my assy in another location on the tank. My new pump assy is for an 03 Silverado, it is ohms 240 full 33 empty but once keyed up or running its voltage 257 full 57 empty.
