I'm so excited, I was finely able to get some new tires. Now all I need is for it to warm up a bit so I can paint my wheels.

Nice to have new tires. Where is the spare for a five tire rotation though? If you are going to wait it could be a while, how bad are your wheels? Maybe you can mount them now then pop the outer bead and paint the outer face late this spring.

Here's some inspiration to get ya through the winter (may it end soon) - these are those exact same tires on stock 16.5 steelies (this gorgeous truck was at Brother's sitting next tot he orange/black Overhaulin' truck):

Congratulations on a brand spankin' new set of tires. I painted my wheels last winter when it was freezing. I took one at a time inside by the wood stove with the primer,once warm rolled out and shot primer,rolled back in by the wood stove.'after it baked by the stove with the paint I rolled it back out and painted,then rolled back in for over night. I did one a night for 4 nights. I never dismounted them.Just stripped to bare with a wire cup on a mini-grinder and used a strip if galvanized sheet metal about 4" wide that I wrap around the bead and tape together. Absolutely no paint gets on the tire

Thanks guys, it probably wont be much longer now. I feel spring is just around the corner around here.

I thought you knew already. 67 C-20 Custom Camper 68 Nova 396 it does wheelies 2005 Buick Century the one the wife drives 1989 Toyota Tercel to drive when I can't put gas in the first 2.
