Arrow Faded Glory - 76' GMC - Needs Help

I was visiting with my girlfriends family in Seminole, TX when I saw this old pickup truck. It had belonged to my girlfriends late Granddad. I'd expressed an interest in it to her Grandma, she'd said no one was gonna do anything with it and that it had a new motor and transmission put in it four years ago. The funny thing is it's been setting in front of there home for over ten years. Her grandson was supposed to take it, but he didn't want anything to do with it. So I got online and found transport company's that cut each others throat. I had gotten an estimate to get it shipped from Seminole to Houston for four hundred. When the driver showed up he said that the tires where to far gone to hold air. After changing three tires there, that where in the back of the pickup(for who knows how long), he winched it on a trailer. With that he'd charged an extra $50(no big deal). However, once the truck was in front of the house all the neighbors where coming out of there houses thinking(O.M.G.. Does he plane on having that in the neighborhood?). I saw pictures later, because I was at work. My girlfriends dad was freaking out, all he could think of was the H.O.A. was gonna be on his ass. From that point he knew we'd have to get a storage spot some-wheres. Luckily, a buddy down our street had a trailer and knew where I could store it. So it was off to storage. Now it sits in wait of repairs, I've got a buddy in Pasadena. The plan now is to get the wheels that I gonna run with, next month with tires to haul it from League City to Pasadena. That's where I'm at so far fella's. Any input on process would help me out. Thanka'
