Shaved Doors - What pushers are you using?

I currently have stock latches on my shaved doors with an AVS remote door popper system. The remote feature works fine to open the latch but the door doesn't have enough pressure to clear the latch. I usually have to hit the remote again while pulling on the door to get it to open.

Was curious what other folks are using and where you have it installed. I was thinking to install bolt in bear claws but I hate the idea of cutting the doors this late in the game. Plus the AVS works fine. I just need something to reliably push the doors.

Using autoloc without the pushers believe mine are 30-35 lb poppers. Normally no problems with them. But the pushers would solve ur problem without changing to bear claw latches.

Do you have a link to the autoloc product?

I see Autoloc has the pushers. Is it best to mount this near the latch? I've seen others that say mount them near the hinge..not sure how that would work.

Re: Shaved Doors - What pushers are you using?

Looks like the adjustable one are 7/8"-1 1/8" length. So at the hinge popping the door an inch would well clear ur latch width. I would try them at the hinge then if you were not pleased with the action you could plug the hole out of site. That is my thoughts anyway. Post how you come out. Sure someone will run across this issue in the future it helps if someone solves and offers a solution for others to consider.
