Next weekend I'm picking up a 1988 2500
It's a basic Scottsdale, 4x4 extended cab LWB, 5-speed with a 5.7. Thing is, it's a non-A/C truck. I have plans to fix that. Anyone ever done it?

Re: Next weekend I'm picking up a 1988 2500
There are about 5 or 6 A/C cab 1988-1998 Chevy trucks at the cheapo junkyard I go to. I already need a serpentine A/C compressor for my '88 K5 resto. Weird thing is, this truck has a skinny 4-groove? belt on it. I mean it should be alright with A/C added once I delete the smog, but I've never seen a belt like that before. it IS a 1992 Cadillac engine.
I'm more worried about the coil bolting to the firewall and the controls in the cab though. Otherwise I can get ALL of the hardware.
