Re: 84 k10 Build
I scored a really nice set of 18" Rockstars super cheap. Not sure if I am going to go w/ these or not

Re: 84 k10 Build
Plan is to bore the 350 .30 over and stroke it. Get the 700r4 built. Go with a 4" or 6" suspension. Very light silver paint and new interior.

Re: 84 k10 Build
Nice start ZMAR. I'd find another home for the rockstars and find some original 6 lug rally wheels and add BFG 35's. These trucks, especially swb look killer with a 4-6" lift with those wheels and tires. "Understated" is the key in my opinion.
However, if everybody just built trucks that I like this place would be boring so please take it with a grain of salt. Keep up the pics!

Re: 84 k10 Build
Looks like a nice solid truck to start with. I can't wait to see how it turns out!
I like the stock rally wheels on these trucks also, but since you already scored these I would give them a try and see how they work out. Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: 84 k10 Build
I think I'm going to stick w/ the rockstars right now. I believe I'll go with a 4" so I don't have to mess with all the ds angles and extensions. 33x13.50 tires will not murder my tranny also. What gears do y'all think I should go w/ if any?
