tubbing a stepside.

Anyone ever tubbed out their stepside? I need to fit 15" wide tires in the back of my stepside and the wheel wells are only 12" wide. Anyone ever done this? What'd you use for the tubs and how wide did you go? Thanks in advance.Gotta do something to get some nice wide, sticky meats under there for the big block.

You could use the stock tubs from a fleet side to make it look somewhat stock. Just trim them down so you'd have the amount needed and an inch or two extra. you'd probably need to do fram mods too.
Aren't the fiberglass replacements supposed to be wider? Anyone know for sure?

I've never done it but I have seen a number of them done as described by longhornmail. Fleet wheel well mounted inside the bed, makes for a nice clean look. Not sure how wide you can get before you get into frame work. 15 might be pushing it but I think it will fit if the backspacing is perfect.
